KOCHI: Organ trafficking ringleader nabbed. Sabit Nasar, a native of Thrissur Valapad, was arrested. He was arrested at the Nedumbassery airport when he was returning from taking a person for organ trafficking.

He took the person to Iran for organ trafficking. It was discovered that the surgery was done in a hospital there. He was doing kidney business. According to a media report, he would bring people to Iran for a small fee, then harvest the organs and sell them on the international market for huge sums. It is reported that Sabit has brought many people to Iran. He would tell people at first that he would pay a large sum of money, but after stealing the organ, he scams them. He used to bring people back after paying a small amount of money. It is indicated that the police have received information about organ trafficking from the accused's phone.

Aluva Rural SP told the media that more complaints have been received against Sabit Nasar.

Sabit Nasar is the key link in the organ trafficking mafia. Aluva Rural SP responded that the questioning has been completed but cannot divulge further details at this time. The police informed that Sabit Nassar will be produced in court today. There are reports that the investigation team will go to Palakkad to take statements from the complainants.
